Bitcoin Education in Delhi

Bitcoin Bharat's Growing Impact Across Delhi Campuses
Delhi is India's capital. It is where policy gets made, where institutions carry weight, and where ideas that matter find their largest audience. It is also the city where Bitcoin Bharat has shown up more than anywhere else in India.
The Bitcoin India Tour has visited Delhi more than any other city on its nationwide circuit. From Chanakyapuri to South Delhi to North Delhi's engineering corridors, Bitcoin Bharat has brought its education first mission across the capital's most respected institutions.
Each session different. Each room a new community. One consistent message: understand Bitcoin, understand money.
The Debut: Jesus and Mary College, February 4, 2025
Bitcoin Bharat's New Delhi chapter opened at Jesus and Mary College on February 4, 2025, supported by Ledger.
The venue was deliberate. Chanakyapuri sits at the heart of India's diplomatic enclave, surrounded by embassies, heritage institutions, and one of Delhi's most globally connected student communities. The session welcomed students from all academic backgrounds and covered the fundamentals: what money is, why it loses value over time, what Bitcoin is and why it was created, and how the network operates without a central authority.
As Bitcoin Bharat framed it: from India Gate to digital wallets, New Delhi is ready.
The Women's Edition: Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, April 13, 2025
Two months later, Bitcoin Bharat returned for Delhi Edition 2.0 at Maitreyi College, one of the University of Delhi's leading women's colleges, on April 13, 2025.
This session carried a specific intention. Bitcoin Bharat designed it to bring Bitcoin education directly to women students, encouraging more of them to engage with financial literacy and independent economic thinking. The curriculum moved from the history of money through to Bitcoin adoption trends globally and the real opportunities available for students who want to learn and contribute in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Beginner friendly by design. Every question welcomed. No prior knowledge required.
The Engineering Edition: NIT Delhi, April 15, 2025
Two days later, Delhi Edition 3.0 took the Bitcoin India Tour to the National Institute of Technology Delhi on April 15, 2025.
NIT Delhi called for a deeper session. Engineers want to know not just what Bitcoin is but how it works at the architecture level. The session covered distributed consensus, mining, node security, and why Bitcoin's design makes it resilient without any central point of control.
For students already studying computer science, cryptography, and networking, Bitcoin was not abstract. It was a real world system applying everything they study into something already operating at global scale.
Hansraj College, University of Delhi
Bitcoin Bharat brought the tour to Hansraj College, one of the University of Delhi's most celebrated institutions.
Hansraj attracts some of Delhi University's most academically driven students across science, commerce, and humanities. The session covered Bitcoin's monetary foundations, why purchasing power declines over time, and what financial sovereignty looks like in a digital first world. For a student body that spans disciplines, Bitcoin Bharat kept the conversation accessible without sacrificing depth.
IGDTUW, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women
Bitcoin Bharat's session at IGDTUW made it one of the most meaningful stops on the Delhi circuit.
IGDTUW trains women engineers at one of Delhi's dedicated technical universities. Taking Bitcoin education into a women's engineering institution reflects exactly what Bitcoin Bharat stands for: financial literacy and Bitcoin awareness for every student, regardless of background. The session combined technical fundamentals with the broader economic case for Bitcoin, meeting students where they are and giving them tools they can actually use.
NDIM Delhi, New Delhi Institute of Management
The New Delhi Institute of Management gave Bitcoin Bharat access to one of Delhi's most finance and business focused student communities.
NDIM students are already thinking about careers in economics, investment, banking, and financial systems. For this room, Bitcoin was not introduced as a technology story. It was introduced as a monetary one. The session explored the structural limitations of the current financial system, what a mathematically enforced supply cap of 21 million means in a world of unlimited money printing, and why a growing number of institutions and individuals globally are taking Bitcoin seriously as a long term store of value.
More Than Campus Events
What has happened in Delhi is larger than a series of campus events. It reflects a growing interest among students to better understand money, technology, and the systems shaping their future.
Across colleges and universities, students have engaged with fundamental questions about money, value, and Bitcoin. Those conversations are at the heart of Bitcoin Bharat's mission and demonstrate what becomes possible when education comes before speculation.
As the Bitcoin India Tour continues across the country, the goal remains simple: making Bitcoin education accessible through open dialogue and first principles thinking.
Bitcoin Bharat is India's largest grassroots Bitcoin education movement, bringing Bitcoin education to every corner of India, one city and one conversation at a time.
