Bitwise XRP ETF Surpasses $500 Million in Nine Months

Bitwise XRP ETF Reaches a Major Milestone
The connection between digital assets and traditional financial markets continues to develop, with another notable milestone emerging from the US exchange traded fund market.
Bitwise’s XRP ETF has surpassed $500 million in assets under management just nine months after its launch, marking strong growth for one of the investment products providing regulated exposure to XRP through traditional brokerage accounts.
According to Bitcoin.com, the fund reported approximately $502.7 million in net assets as of August 27, alongside nearly 364.8 million XRP valued at approximately $502.9 million. The ETF also had around 32.65 million shares outstanding, with a reported net asset value of $15.40 per share.

Bitwise Celebrates Growing Mainstream Access
Bitwise Asset Management announced the milestone on X, highlighting the speed at which its XRP ETF has grown since its launch.
The company said:
“14 years in, and the $XRP community continues to be unstoppable. The Bitwise XRP ETF crossed $500,000,000 in AUM, just 9 months after launch.”
Bitwise also added:
“Grateful for the chance to expand mainstream access to XRP and steward investors’ exposure to the opportunities in this space.”
These comments point to one of the important developments behind the growth of digital asset investment products: accessibility.
Instead of requiring investors to directly purchase and manage XRP, the ETF provides exposure through a familiar financial structure that can be accessed through brokerage accounts.
From Market Debut to $500 Million
The Bitwise XRP ETF began trading on NYSE Arca on November 20, 2025, under the ticker XRP.
The fund launched with a 0.34 percent management fee, alongside a temporary waiver covering the first $500 million in assets during its first month.
Since its launch, the fund has continued to expand its underlying XRP holdings.
At the end of the second quarter, the trust held approximately 286.8 million XRP and reported around $299.1 million in net assets.
By August 27, its holdings had increased by nearly 78 million XRP, bringing the total close to 364.8 million XRP.
The growth highlights how quickly regulated digital asset investment products can develop as access through traditional financial markets expands.
A Growing Market for XRP ETFs
The latest milestone also comes as the broader US market for XRP exchange traded products continues to develop.
Earlier in 2026, XRP ETFs collectively surpassed $1.1 billion in assets across seven funds, demonstrating that investor access to XRP through traditional financial infrastructure is becoming increasingly established.
For investors who prefer conventional brokerage platforms, these products provide an alternative way to gain exposure to digital assets without directly managing private keys or cryptocurrency custody.
This creates an important bridge between traditional financial markets and the digital asset economy.
Trading Activity Adds to the Momentum
The Bitwise XRP ETF has also experienced notable trading activity.
The fund recorded more than $200 million in combined trading volume across three consecutive sessions ending August 24, with daily turnover exceeding $80 million during the strongest session.
Trading volume and assets under management represent different measures. Trading volume shows how much ETF shares are exchanged between market participants, while assets under management represent the value of assets held by the fund.
The distinction is important because trading activity alone does not indicate the amount of new capital entering a fund.
Nevertheless, the combination of growing assets, expanding XRP holdings and active trading demonstrates the increasing presence of XRP within established investment markets.
Digital Assets Continue Entering Traditional Finance
The growth of the Bitwise XRP ETF reflects a broader evolution taking place across financial markets.
Exchange traded products have become an important way for traditional investors to gain exposure to digital assets through familiar financial infrastructure.
As asset managers introduce products covering different digital assets, investors are gaining more choices while the wider market continues to develop its institutional infrastructure.
The expansion of regulated investment products is helping create a stronger connection between digital assets and established financial markets.
What the $500 Million Milestone Means
The Bitwise XRP ETF reaching more than $500 million in assets within nine months is an important milestone for the fund and for the expanding market of digital asset investment products.
With nearly 364.8 million XRP held by the fund, the latest figures demonstrate the scale that a regulated digital asset product can achieve within a relatively short period.
The broader significance is the continued development of investment channels that connect digital assets with traditional finance.
As more investors gain access through established brokerage infrastructure, digital assets are becoming increasingly integrated into the wider financial ecosystem.
For the broader digital asset market, milestones such as this reflect the continued expansion of institutional participation, regulated access and mainstream financial infrastructure.
